They begin to get on each other's nerves since they were now the only two people now living in a big house. Eventually these two moved into their own bedrooms and rarely spoke to each other during the morning hours.

After decades of marriage he was now claiming that she had a younger lover who would satisfy her within his truck. He threatened to send his wife to a mental institution and even told her that the house was speaking to him. She in turn wanted to have him committed.
